Friday night we went to the strip club "Acropolis" where they have nasty looking strippers and decent cheap steak. I remember I went there 5 or more years ago, the first time I visited, it was just like I remembered it, minus the smoking this time though. Saturday night we went to a movie about black metal, it was pretty good. Sunday I went to a brunch place with bottomless mimosas. Also went out Monday and Tuesday. Having out of town guests is very tiring. I am ready for many naps. Also, I just heard the loudest thunder ever.

every year for the past several years, someone has texted me when it was morrissey's birthday. it's never the same person, this year audrey did the honors. i find this so awesomely funny.

i've gotta say, i miss my dad so fucking much. if you still have a dad, be nice to him. seriously.

jeez, i have not said anything here for a bit. i still have nothing to say really. i've been in portland for over 3 months, it's just now kinda sinking in that i moved to a different state. i was in some weird transitionary period before, but now i'm feeling more settled. i am also now seeing just how miserable i was in san francisco, it's weird how sometimes you cannot see these things til it's over.

i was going through the 7000+ photos on my brothers flickr of the 2 different road trips he and my dad took to chicago and i found a few i really liked. but then i got sad and stopped looking at them. here's one of them. my dad is the one with all his teeth, i'm not sure who that other person is.

our neighbor has chickens. sometimes they are very loud. sometimes the other neighbors dog tries to eat them through the fence.

i had a dream about ube last night. i miss him a ton. i need a pet in my life soon.

i really enjoy the sound of trains. i don't start hearing them until about midnight or so. i don't know why i like hearing them, they don't remind me of anything, i don't associate anything with them, i just like the sound i guesss. but yeah, i hear trains here all night, it makes me happy.
